What we do with what you tell us.
Every conversation with Salus is confidential. This notice explains, in plain terms, what personal details we collect through this website, why, and the choices you have.

Who we are
Salus is a residential wellness recovery retreat at Dash Box Hotel, Persiaran APEC, Cyber 8, 63000 Cyberjaya, Selangor, Malaysia. It is part of Solace Wellbeing Group. For anything in this notice, write to info@salus.my or call +60 12-839 4686.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry we ask for your name, email address, an optional phone number, who the enquiry is for, an optional main concern, and your message. You choose what to include; you can leave the optional fields blank or select "I would rather not say".
If you call or message us on WhatsApp, we receive the number you call from and what you tell us.
Like most websites, we use Google Tag Manager, which may load measurement tools such as Google Analytics, to understand how the site is used, for example which pages are visited and from what kind of device. This does not tell us who you are.
Why we collect it
To respond to your enquiry, to arrange an assessment if you ask for one, and to keep a record of our conversation so you do not have to repeat yourself. We do not use your details for marketing, and we do not sell or rent them to anyone.
Where it goes
An enquiry sent through this website is emailed to our admissions team at info@salus.my, and a copy is stored in the website's secure form database so that it is not lost. Both are accessible only to the Salus admissions and clinical team.
Details you share about a health condition, or about someone else, are treated as sensitive. We use them only to advise you and to plan care, and we never share who has enquired or stayed with us without consent, unless the law requires it or someone is in immediate danger.
How long we keep it
Enquiry details are kept for as long as needed to respond and to arrange care, and afterwards only as required for clinical and legal record keeping. You can ask us to delete an enquiry that did not lead to a stay at any time.
Your rights
Under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 you can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw consent to our use of it. Email info@salus.my and we will respond within 21 days.
Enquiring for someone else
Many people contact us on behalf of a family member, friend or colleague. Please share only what is needed for us to advise you. We will not contact the person you are worried about unless you ask us to.
Changes
If this notice changes, the new version is published here with a new date.
